These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of soluisrael.org (the "Site") operated by SOLU Israel ("SOLU," "we," "us"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Site, subscribing to our emails, or making a donation, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use or enjoyment of the Site. Prohibited behavior includes harassment, distributing offensive content, or interfering with the Site's operation.
3. Donations
Donations to SOLU are processed through Stripe and are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact hello@soluisrael.org within 30 days and we will review in good faith. US donors receive a tax receipt acknowledging the gift under our 501(c)(3) status (EIN 87-4824515). Recurring donors may modify or cancel their recurring gift at any time at soluisrael.org/portal (passwordless login via email magic link), or by emailing us.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, music, videos, images, and code — is owned by SOLU or our licensors and is protected by copyright. Original songs are free for congregational use; for recording, sync, or commercial use, contact hello@soluisrael.org.
5. User-submitted content
When you submit a testimony, message, or other content through our forms, you grant SOLU a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for ministry purposes (with attribution where appropriate). You represent that you own the content you submit and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.
6. Third-party links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third parties.
7. Disclaimer
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SOLU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Site or any content on it. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For US donors, applicable federal laws also apply with respect to tax-deductibility and IRS compliance.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
